An Interim HSE Manager was provided by InterFace to co-ordinate health, safety and environmental activities at the pre-assembly site in Dunkerque, France. This was to support construction of the Thanet Offshore wind farm in the UK.
Tasks included daily toolbox talks, compliance auditing of all activities and contractors on the site, attending weekly progress meetings, testing emergency procedures, provision of advice and support to the construction manager, site engineer, supervisors as well as mechanical/electrical technicians and lifting contractors, overseeing site security, safety intervention, development/delivery of training material, implementation of environmental management system elements, delivering site inductions, overseeing corporate HSE reporting, responding to safety alerts and facilitating responses to hazard observations.
Support was also provided at the commissioning site in Ramsgate, UK
